Zest Culinary Services at North Delta School is seeking a friendly and dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Batesville, MS!

The Kitchen Assistant plays an important role in our daily operations and works under the direction of the Food Service Manager. This is an hourly position and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a team dedicated to serving students and staff with providing of Southern hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the head cook with meal preparation and cooking including the fryer
• Help serve meals on the line during breakfast and lunch periods
• Prepare and deliver food
• Support general kitchen operations and cleanup
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

About You:

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required
