We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Zest Cape May. Zest Restaurant group is home to Taco Caballito and some new restaurant ventures. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, crafting delicious cocktails, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, be an extension of the brand to develop loyal customers
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
