Zerr Berg Architects (ZBA), an architectural firm located in Fargo, ND, is hiring a full-time Interior Designer. Applicants would be responsible for managing the entire interiors portion of assigned projects and coordinating with team members to complete work on time and within the client’s budget. ZBA is a growing, full-service architectural firm providing design services for projects of all types. This position is located in Fargo, ND and can include travel to the surrounding region as required.

Responsibilities:
- Construction Documents: Drawing and detailing floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, floor finish plans, interior elevations, and casework details.
- Specifications: Research and select interior finishes that would best meet specific project requirements and budgets. Contribute to spec writing. Coordination of lighting/plumbing/HVAC fixtures and finishes.
- Finishes: Selection/reselection, research and rep meetings, finish presentations, maintain product library with current materials, create finish boards, finish bins for ease of construction administration.
- Furniture/Artwork/Accessories: Procurement/commissioning, layout, finish selections and coordination with vendors/providers.
- Client Interactions: Work directly with clients to program needs and present design concepts. Conduct site visits to problem solve and address questions and concerns during construction.
- Visualizations: Create interior 3D views and renderings for clients, including postproduction work.
- Construction Administration: Shop drawings, submittals, and site visits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- 4 years of experience in commercial design or similar
- Proficiency with REVIT, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with rendering programs like Lumion is a plus
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, creativity, and vision
- Able to work in a collaborative environment engaging in all aspects of the design process from conceptual design to completion
- Ability to manage the entire interiors portion of assigned projects and coordinate with team members to complete work
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Work independently on projects
