Role Description
ZeroZero Foundation is seeking a full-time Career Director to join its team on site in Birmingham, AL. The Career Director will oversee professional development initiatives, manage career counseling programs, and build partnerships with local organizations to create career placement opportunities. Key duties include designing career advancement workshops, providing one-on-one guidance to participants, managing a small team of career advisors, and measuring the effectiveness of career development strategies through data-driven approaches.
Qualifications
- Experience in career counseling, professional development, or similar fields
- Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with local job markets and experience in creating employment opportunities
- Proficient in data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting outcomes
- Proven ability to build partnerships with community organizations and employers
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Counseling, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
