Job Summary and Mission
This position contributes to Zero Degrees success by providing excellent customer service to all customers. This job creates the Zero Degrees Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Understands and execute in accordance with Zero Degrees policy and principles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning and Organizing
- Assure proper set up kitchen, storage & prep areas.
- Ability to cook and prep
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
- Familiarize self with every food & beverage items and inventory items.
- Assure the knowledge of all ingredients in each menu item.
- Contains knowledge of the placement of all kitchen, food, prep and equipment items in the kitchen, storage rooms, food cooler, and prep areas to deliver operational efficiency.
- Attend to customer and co-worker complaints as they arise and direct them to the manager if you have any challenge handling yourself.
- Assures proper daily kitchen and/or station set up from the beginning of the shift until your shift has ended.
- Ability to always maintain attitude and composure with all guests and co-workers.
- Possesses an honest and diligent attitude at all times.
- Controls according to established policies, standards, procedures employees-performance, conduct, dress, hygiene, sanitation, and personal appearance.
- Ability to abide by all health code regulations and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use physical capabilities such as (but not limited to): walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, and carrying.
- Ability to carry and or lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand and exert well paced mobility during shift hours.
Experience:
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities.
- Food safety and handling of kitchen tools
