Food, Beverage & Hospitality Director

$75,000–$90,000 DOE Bonus Potential

We're looking for an exceptional Food, Beverage & Hospitality Director to lead and grow the restaurant, bar, and guest service operations at Zeppoz in Pullman, Washington. Zeppoz is one of the Inland Northwest's premier family entertainment centers, featuring a 24-lane bowling center, arcade, restaurant, full-service bar, meeting and event spaces, and a loyal customer base built over decades.

You'll have responsibility for the entire food and beverage operation, including:

• Leading and developing kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams
• Building a culture focused on outstanding guest experiences
• Managing staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance
• Developing and monitoring key performance indicators to measure operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Developing menus and beverage offerings
• Managing food, beverages, labor, and operating costs
• Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating purchasing agreements
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
• Improving systems, procedures, and operating efficiency
• Working closely with ownership to identify opportunities for growth
• Helping shape the long-term direction of Zeppoz

In your first year, you'll be expected to:

• Build and develop a high-performing food and beverage team
• Improve the consistency and quality of food and guest service
• Increase restaurant and bar revenue through improved operations, guest experience, and marketing initiatives
• Implement systems that improve efficiency, training, and accountability
• Help establish Zeppoz as the premier destination in Pullman for dining, entertainment, leagues, parties, and events

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant bar and restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume operation
• Demonstrated success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, inventory, food and beverage cost, and operating performance
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to develop systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and guest experience
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining employees
• Experience with hosting banquets and special events, catering, and/or family entertainment venues
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passion for hospitality and guest service
• A desire to take on increasing leadership responsibility and contribute to the long-term success of the business
