Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating the cash register, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. This role requires punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude to enhance the overall customer experience.

Duties

• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments securely.
• Offer ice samples to customers as part of promoting products.
• Provide friendly and prompt assistance to customers at the point of sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Ensure proper punctuality and adherence to scheduled shifts.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
• Follow all store policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
