Overview
Zephyr Coffee is hiring experienced Baristas who know how to run a proper coffee bar. You will be responsible for crafting high quality espresso drinks, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and smooth-operating environment. If you have strong barista experience and thrive in a fast paced café setting, we want you on the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare all espresso beverages, specialty drinks, teas, and menu items according to Zephyr Coffee standards.
- Deliver warm, efficient, and professional customer service to every guest.
- Operate the POS system, handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar area, equipment, and customer spaces.
- Restock coffee, milk, pastries, syrups, cups, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Work efficiently during peak hours, keeping the bar fast, clean, and consistent.
- Buss tables, wipe surfaces, sweep, and assist with shop upkeep as needed.
- Follow all health department and food safety regulations.
- Support the team and contribute to a positive café culture.
Experience
- Previous barista or café experience is required minimum 1 year preferred.
- Must be confident with:
- Espresso extraction
- Milk steaming and texture
- Latte art fundamentals
- Workflow and bar organization
- Ability to stay calm, fast, and accurate during busy hours.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for transactions.
- Reliability, professionalism, and consistent work ethic are essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
