Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing installation crews, electricians, technicians, and warehouse staff
- Ensure on-time, high-quality solar installations in line with safety standards, company procedures, budget, and customer expectations
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvements in installation timelines, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency
- Champion safety and ensure teams adhere to OSHA standards and the company’s safety policies and PPE requirements
- Resolve escalated customer or job site issues with professionalism and urgency
- Manage team schedules and pay reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with crew members, field leadership, and customers
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement to Set the Standard in residential solar
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3 years experience in residential solar or construction
- 2 years in leadership role with proven ability to lead field teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong working knowledge of solar installation processes, electrical systems, and local building codes
- Knowledge and understanding of NEC code with proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings for accurate installations
- Management experience with success in recruiting, personnel development, leading teams to achieve KPI success, and setting high standards
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to travel within the region with valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
