Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our team and help ensure our reps are paid accurately and on time, every time. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for executing the commissions payment process for the company and managing, analyzing, and reporting on the company credit card spend. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills to work with sales representatives and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate, process, and report on commission payments to company leadership
- Ensure accurate tracking of commission payments, advances, and deductions
- Onboard and offboard sales reps in HRIS and company systems
- Utilize HRIS and Payroll software to maintain records, assist with audits and generate payroll-related reports, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Communicate about and respond to questions about commission payments and calculations in a timely manner
- Manage company credit card access
- Analyze and report on credit card spend to company leadership
Qualifications:
- 2 years of payroll experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment including the ability to work after hours if needed to meet payment deadlines
- Detail oriented, organized, innovative, and resourceful
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google and Microsoft suites
- Possesses analytical and auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile accounts
