Stage Lead/Stage Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stage Lead/Stage Technician to oversee the smooth execution of theatrical productions, dance performances, and live events. This vital role involves coordinating stage operations, managing technical equipment, and supporting performers to ensure each show runs seamlessly. Duties

• Lead the setup, operation, and breakdown of stage equipment including lighting, sound, props, and scenery to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate closely with directors, choreographers, performers, and production staff to ensure all technical elements align with artistic vision.
• Manage stage crew during rehearsals and performances, providing clear instructions and support to execute cues flawlessly.
• Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and ensuring all stage areas are secure for performers and crew.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly during live shows to minimize disruptions.

Experience

• Proven experience in theater production, dance performances, or live event staging is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of stage lighting, sound systems, scenery management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams including performers, directors, and technical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in public speaking or presenting technical information clearly to varied audiences is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
