Google Cloud Platform BQ Lead/Architect

Job Description: 

Cloud Platform Proficiency: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including managing data access, subscriptions, and integration with Snowflake. 

Data Architecture and Modelling: Ability to design scalable, efficient data models and pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence. 

Data Integration, ETL/ELT, and Automation: Skilled in designing and implementing data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes using tools compatible with Snowflake, with a strong emphasis on automation to reduce manual effort. 

Python and Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python programming for automation, including writing reusable scripts, leveraging libraries such as Netmiko and PyATS for network and data automation, and integrating Python-based workflows into CI/CD pipelines. 

Security and Access Management: Knowledge of data access controls, role-based permissions, and compliance requirements within Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform environments. 

Applicant Profile: 

8 years of experience in Data Engineering / Cloud Data Platforms. 

Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, Snowflake, and cloud-native data solutions. 

Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development and automation. 

Proficient in Python scripting, SQL, and CI/CD integration. 

Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, and analytics solutions. 

Good understanding of IAM, security policies, and access management in Google Cloud Platform/Snowflake. 

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Prior experience in onsite/client-facing roles is preferred.
