Zensar is seeking a fulltime Senior Technical Consultant onsite in Jersey City, NJ. You will be required to come to office.

Job Description

What you will be doing:

Technical Leadership & Ownership

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance frontend solutions using Angular (latest versions).
• Drive architectural decisions including Angular Micro Frontends (MFE), Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and modular design patterns.
• Conduct whiteboarding sessions, define solution architecture, and guide the team in implementation best practices.
• Take ownership of both quality and quantity of deliverables, ensuring timelines and standards are consistently met.
• Adept at performing Code reviews
• Ensure high standards in Code quality
• Application performance
• Scalability and maintainability
• Advocate for performance-first development mindset across the team.

What you must have:

• Strong hands-on expertise 8 years in: Angular Framework TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6 )
• Experience in code refactoring, improving maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Deep understanding of Web Performance Metrics including Core Web Vitals optimization techniques:
• Solid understanding of backend systems – Java or NET .
• Ability to Read and interpret backend code when required.
• Leverage AI tools effectively to analyze backend logic and accelerate development.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure seamless API integration and optimized data flow.
• Promote and implement spec-driven development approaches.
• Stay updated and adopt modern frontend trends, frameworks, and evolving architectural patterns.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices aligned with industry standards.
• Must have experience with AI-Driven Development & Automation
• Utilize AI-powered tools and agents for (2 years of exp):
• Translating user stories into development tasks
• Automating coding, testing, and integration workflows (SDLC/PDLC)
• Continuously refine AI outputs by:
• Improving prompts and workflows
• Enable faster delivery cycles through AI-assisted development pipelines.
• Mentor and guide frontend developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Drive technical discussions, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with UX, Product Owners, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
