What's this role about?

The HL7 Corepoint Integration Analyst/Developer will support healthcare organizations in building and maintaining interfaces that enable interoperability between electronic health record (EHR) systems, ancillary applications, and external partners. This role ensures accurate, secure, and efficient data exchange across systems.

HLT/EHR Data Integration Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Key Responsibilities

• Interface Development & Maintenance
• Design, configure, and implement HL7 interfaces using Corepoint Integration Engine.
• Develop custom HL7 derivatives and APIs to meet vendor specifications.
• Support integration workflows for Epic Bridges and other healthcare platforms.
• Data Conversion & Migration
• Assist with large-scale healthcare system implementations (e.g., Epic).
• Manage data conversion efforts and ensure smooth migration across systems.
• Troubleshooting & Support
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve interface-related issues in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing support for production interfaces and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including clinical staff, IT, and vendors.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong expertise in HL7 standards and Corepoint Integration Engine.
• Experience with Epic Bridges or similar healthcare integration platforms (preferred).
• Solid understanding of healthcare workflows and interoperability standards.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting for interface customization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with large-scale healthcare system implementations.
• Knowledge of FHIR, CCD, and other interoperability frameworks.
• Ability to work independently
