Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg
Location: Carbondale, IL 62901
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts
Contract: 13 Weeks with Possible Extension
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Med Surg) to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
Preferred Certifications / Experience
Additional certifications may be required or preferred depending on the assigned unit, including:
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- NRP
- OCN
Experience in the following areas may also be considered:

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,300.00 per week
