Who is Zenix Aerospace Jet Products?
Zenix Aerospace Jet Products uses its own near net shape starting blanks with sizes ranging from 2″ to 180″ diameter. Applications include turbine engine parts, nacelle mounting and attach rings, and duct fittings. Produces complex machined rings and ring components in titanium, nickel, cobalt, stainless and aluminum alloys. Major markets for current production are airframe structural rings and assemblies, including the nacelle and thrust reverser, and a variety of rings and cases for turbine engines.
What Does the Job Involve?
The Shipping Coordinator performs administrative functions related to the shipping of materials and products. Examines, verifies, and maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepares all paperwork for shipment, including the addressing of merchandise or material and arranging for the transportation of products.

What Will My Responsibilities Include?
- Examines, verifies, and maintains records on outgoing shipments; assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to required standards.
- Prepares paperwork for shipment, including certification packages and addresses merchandise or material. Contacts carriers to arrange for the transportation of products while following appropriate shipping procedures.
- Prepares product or material and packs orders for shipment using standard manual and automatic equipment; marks with appropriate identification per specification. Inputs all transactions into material resource planning system (MRP.)
- Assembles, builds, and loads cartons for shipment.
- Reviews and records incoming and outgoing shipment data, such as identification information, weight, measurements, charges, damages, and discrepancies for accounting and recordkeeping purposes; input data into MRP.
- Reviews and maintains material certifications and files appropriately.
- Participates and helps coordinate yearly inventory process. Works with multiple departments to establish timing, process, and coordination of people to conduct inventory.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, works overtime, when necessary, follows directions from a supervisor, interacts well with co-workers, understands, and follows work rules and procedures, works safely, complies with corporate policies, goals, and objectives, accepts constructive feedback, establishes goals and objectives, and exhibits initiative and commitment.
- Participates in continuous improvement events, as needed.
- Provides suggestions and takes action to continuously improve company performance.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and computer office programs; Microsoft Office Suite and ERP.
- Must be detail oriented and strong team player attitude.
- Answer telephones.
- Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis/research.
- Use desktop publishing software.

Education
- High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of experience in a shipping related function.
- Experience in a manufacturing industry, preferred.
- Experience in material identification, preferred.
