Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to support the analysis, design, development, and testing of new applications and enhancements to existing systems. This role requires strong Java/J2EE development expertise, solid SDLC knowledge, and the ability to collaborate directly with business owners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and contribute to solution design for new applications and enhancements.
Develop, code, and unit test Java-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
Build and enhance components using JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, and related technologies.
Participate in full SDLC activities, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Collaborate with business owners to clarify requirements and communicate technical solutions effectively.
Required Qualifications
6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, and XML.
Proven experience applying SDLC principles and delivering stable, high-quality applications.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience working directly with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting technology solutions in a laboratory, medical equipment, or pharmaceutical company environment.
