Negotiator, Investment Strategy (Linear)

Zenith is looking for a talented Negotiator, Investment Strategy. The Negotiator will also effectively leverage experience, knowledge and skills to push fresh thinking to support a major Publicis Media client

Responsibilities

• Present/talk to Internal & External Brand statuses, take minutes/notes during status calls to alert & inform other teams on changes/upcoming items of note (i.e. creative changes, flighting changes, asset needs, pauses, etc.), flag action items to rest of IS, act as resource to Associate
• Plays a role in all aspects of campaign planning including vendor liaison
• Manage & aid associate in comms across Investment teams & Planning teams
• Support Supervisor in Upfront Options/Cancellations Workbooks
• Assist or lead in building presentations of plans, insights, and media to clients
• Basic understanding of consumer habits & touchpoints to help inform media plans that deliver on strategic objectives
• Assist in negotiation of Buys, Makegoods, Positioning, Value Add Negotiations
• Draw actionable insights off syndicated data from relevant research partners
• Build relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
• Prepare and deliver digital plan outlines (budgets, partners, placements, fees)
• Day to day:
• Build and send RFPs
• Build reco slides for client presentations
• Compile insights to inform investment decisions
• Aid in ongoing comms with vendors – meetings, negotiations
• Aid in development of planning outlines

Qualifications

• 1 year of Negotiation buys
• Experience with Linear buys
• Exhibit sharp attention to detail and strong math skills
• Have an intermediate knowledge of Excel and experience with HMX, OX and Prisma media platforms
• Have a strong understanding of media measurement (Nielsen and Comscore)
