Role Description
Zenith Performance & Wellness is Eugene’s home for sports physical therapy, strength, and performance. We’re seeking a Sports Physical Therapist with a passion for helping athletes of all ages and abilities get back to and excel in life. We work with a wide array of clients, but have a high proportion of runners and cyclists. We are looking for a PT who can deliver high-level evaluation and rehab, guide return-to-sport decisions, and collaborate with our strength coaches and massage team. You’ll work in a direct-access, cash-based environment (PIP for MVAs), with the freedom to practice at the top of your license and the support to grow clinically in a fun and friendly environment. Rare prior auths, no limit on treating recreational injuries, full continuity of care from rehab to performance.
Qualifications
- DPT and Oregon PT license (or eligible) — Required
- 2 years sports/orthopedic caseload — Preferred (new grads w/ strong performance background considered)
- OCS, SCS, and/or CSCS — Preferred
- Bike fit training/certification (Retül/SICI/IBFI) — Preferred
- Other specialties such as Pelvic Floor Specialization and Certification-Optional but great
- Demonstrated results with active clients, athletes, runners & cyclists (case examples encouraged)
- Clear communicator; collaborative; growth-oriented
Responsibilities
- 1:1 PT evaluations & treatments, wide client base but athlete and sports heavy
- Manual therapy progressive loading emphasized in clinic
- Strength programming & phased rehab (with coaches & massage team)
- Contribute to education (workshops, articles, quick videos, community consultations)
- 2D running gait analysis: capture, analyze, cue, re-test
- Bike fitting with performance/comfort outcomes (retül/fit experience a plus)
- Utilization of research backed modalities such as BFR and e-stim where indicated
- Uphold Zenith standards for communication, outcomes, and client experience
Compensation & Benefits
