Overview:
Zenith Mental Health is seeking a reliable and organized Clinical Assistant (CA) to support daily operations within our PHP and IOP programs. The CA works directly under the Clinical Director and Program Director assisting with admissions, documentation, assessments, program flow, and peer-support groups. This role includes ongoing shadowing, training, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Clinical Director and assist with any daily operational needs.
- Welcome new clients, support admissions, provide orientation, and assist with intake documents.
- Help administer and track PHQ-9/GAD-7 assessments.
- Set up group rooms, manage materials, and facilitatesupervised peer-support groups as credentialing allows.
- Assist with UDS coordination, lab scheduling, phone/vape storage, and after-care check-ins.
- Prepare daily sign-in sheets, group note templates, and assist with EMR entries and authorizations.
- Support discharge packet preparation, scanning, incident reporting, and scheduling tasks.
- Maintain facility organization, inventory, and client mail.
- Participate in team meetings, shadowing, and ongoing training with the Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; degree in behavioral/mental health preferred.
- Actively pursuing peer certification (CPS, RCP, CAC, etc.).
- CSSRS and Narcan training required (provided upon hire).
- Behavioral health or healthcare admin experience preferred.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Opus preferred) and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

- Requires emotional maturity, professionalism, and comfort supporting clients in crisis.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
