Job Description:
We are looking for an Executive Operations & Events Manager to support the Vice President of Corporate Communication & Events. This position requires a positive attitude and a tenacious self-starter who can anticipate the needs of the executive and take initiative to solve problems independently. In addition to being organized and responsive, you must possess the advanced software IQ and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of executives across multiple functions and levels. You must love what you do and the desire to be an important player on an amazing team.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee office operations, including ordering office and event supplies and overseeing the office environment
· Assist in planning corporate events, managing event planning, logistics and execution. Some travel is required.
· The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, scheduling and provide strategic support ensuring efficient time management
· Implement process improvements that keep the business running smoothly
· Collaborate with the VP of Corporate Communication & Events to develop strategies and long-term solutions to ensure efficient office and event activities
· The objective is to anticipate challenges and ensure the company is set up for success at all times
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant major, with a minimum of 3-5 years of EA experience supporting C-suite executives in a fast-paced environment
· Experience managing highly complex calendars, with the ability to foresee and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively
· Ability to work autonomously on assignments and handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion, with the flexibility to adjust priorities on short notice
· Proven track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions
· Experience planning, managing, and executing events.
· Ability to handle conflict appropriately, knowing when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism and tact when interacting with senior executives and team members
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
