Contract: 6 Months | $65/hr | Fully Onsite
📍 Samsung – Overland Park, KS 66211 (Must work onsite 5 days/week)

🔧 Role Overview
We are seeking a Device Interoperability Test Engineer to support 4G/5G carrier IOT testing. The role requires strong device-testing experience, excellent communication, and the ability to handle fast-paced execution cycles.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret carrier interoperability test-plan requirements with high technical clarity.
- Execute 4G/5G feature test plans on devices, ensuring all steps are followed accurately.
- Coordinate with network engineers to confirm correct parameters and test setup.
- Perform basic cellular log analysis to determine pass/fail outcomes.
- Track issues from identification to full resolution and closure.
- Compile and share twice-daily execution status reports.
- Communicate critical issues/bugs in real time to internal teams.
- Work fully onsite with 10–20% travel and shift flexibility.
📚 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with device testing/logging tools, such as: Shannon-DM, TEMS, QXDM, ELT, Accuver XCAP, etc.
- Hands-on experience executing carrier test plans for lab/field IOT.
- Strong foundational knowledge of:
- LTE
- 5G NR (NSA/SA)
- KPIs, signaling, IMS, call flows
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments with tight schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must work onsite 5x/week at Samsung Kansas – Overland Park, KS 66211.
📌 Preferred Qualifications (Added as requested)
- Previous experience with 5G NR technology (highly preferred).
- Familiarity with US IOT, device certification, or field testing procedures.
