Responsibilities
- Safely transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices.
- Ensure all food items are delivered accurately and promptly, maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas through regular cleaning and food handling.
- Support the kitchen team by performing light food preparation tasks when needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service.
- Manage in-person customer service interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing when required.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn!
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
