Zenar is a privately owned, 3rd generation company located in Oak Creek looking for an experienced CNC-Lathe Machinist who exhibits advanced knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, programming, machine operation and tooling.
- Follow detailed parts drawings and specifications regarding applications, coding, and settings.
- Study drawings to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to machine parts.
- Program and/or modify computer programs.
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
- Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
- Note and report variations from specifications.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.
- Measure and examine, completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
- Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency or adaptability.
- Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion.
- Must have manual dexterity including bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Safety glasses and steel toe shoes are required.
