Zen Stoneworks is an established, locally owned business specializing in high-quality granite, quartz, marble, and other natural stone countertops. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship, quality products, and outstanding customer service to homeowners, builders, and contractors throughout Southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast.
We're looking for a motivated, personable, and sales-driven individual to join our York, Maine showroom team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in home improvement and interior design, and wants to build a rewarding career with a growing company.
Previous countertop or stone industry experience is not required. We're happy to train the right person!
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers into our showroom and provide a friendly, professional experience.
- Guide homeowners, contractors, and designers through the countertop selection and purchasing process.
- Educate customers about granite, quartz, marble, and other countertop materials.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow up with customer inquiries, outstanding estimates, and prospective sales opportunities.
- Develop strong customer relationships and help turn showroom visits into completed sales.
- Coordinate with our fabrication and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain an organized, attractive, and professional showroom.
- Work toward individual sales goals while contributing to the company's continued growth.
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience preferred, but not required.
- An outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
- A self-motivated individual who takes initiative and enjoys achieving sales goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in working with customers, presenting products, and closing sales.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn our estimating and sales systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage several customer projects simultaneously.
- A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team.
- An interest in home design, construction, or remodeling is a plus.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong people skills, and the desire to succeed.
