Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support bussing and clearing tables to keep the dining area tidy and inviting for guests
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or equipment
- Serve food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring accurate order delivery using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to the dining area quickly and accurately
- Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks to prevent injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Uphold high standards of food handling, guest services, and hospitality at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food safety protocols, and food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, following proper safe lifting practices
