Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest relations and ensuring a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and payments
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
- Support guest needs proactively, addressing concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction during their visit
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including serving in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience with bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or guest services is advantageous
