Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Provide assistance during catering events or banquets as required.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on bartending or related roles.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus, along with knowledge of brewing techniques for craft beverages.
