What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper/Maintenance position at Zeman Homes?
Zeman Homes, is looking for a part-time seasonal Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and landscaping, handy man and preventative maintenance work.
This is a seasonal position that works about 25 hours per week. The anticipated end date for this positions is mid-October.
Essential Job Description
- Performances groundskeeping duties such as removing weeds, raking leaves, planting flowers/shrubs, and perform other lawn care services as necessary.
- Ensures community is presentable, inviting and meets standards.
- Cleans and maintains community buildings and maintenance garage.
- Performs general maintenance/handy man duties around the property.
Requirements
- Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment.
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to provide legible written reports.
- Excellent customer service skills.
