Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician

Farmington Estates, a mobile home community located in Park City, IL, is looking for a full-time Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain required to maintain the communities.

Essential Job Description

• Inspects and completes routine maintenance and minor repairs needed at the communities.
• Performs regular landscaping and lawn care services.
• Cleans and maintains community buildings and vacant sites.
• Rehabs and repairs used and leased homes.
• Performs various plumbing tasks. Performs water testing and other maintenance duties related to a well-water system.
• Removes snow from community streets, parking lots, building entrances.

Requirements

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift-up-to 50 pounds.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Prior snow removal experience is preferred.
• Availability to respond to community needs during non-business hours.
• Excellent customer service skills.
