Role Description This is a full-time remote Superintendent role responsible for overseeing commercial and industrial painting and wallcovering projects from planning through completion. The Superintendent coordinates daily field activities, manages schedules, and ensures crews have the materials, equipment, and information needed to execute work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include monitoring job progress, enforcing safety and quality standards, communicating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, and resolving issues that arise on site. The role also involves reviewing plans and specifications, tracking labor and production, documenting project status, and supporting accurate reporting and billing. While the position is remote, regular virtual coordination with field teams and occasional on-site visits may be required depending on project needs.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supervising construction, painting, or industrial coating projects, with strong field coordination and project oversight skills.
- Knowledge of commercial and industrial painting methods, wallcovering installation practices, and relevant materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and job documents, and to translate them into clear instructions for field crews.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and monitoring project milestones.
