About us
Zelia Dental Lab is a small, growing digital dental lab in the New Jersey Bioscience Center in North Brunswick. We make crowns, bridges, implant restorations and dentures for dental offices, and everything is made in-house: scanning, design, milling, 3D printing and finishing. We're adding someone to run the CAM side of production.
The role
You'll run the computers and machines that turn digital designs into real restorations. No dental experience needed. We train you in-house over about three months, working directly alongside the person who does this job now.
What you'll do
- Import finished designs and nest them onto zirconia, PMMA, wax and denture blocks
- Set up and run toolpaths in CAM software
- Operate wet and dry milling machines and resin 3D printers: load material, change tools, monitor jobs
- Run sintering cycles and keep shrinkage settings accurate so parts fit
- Keep case files organized so every job is traceable
- Handle daily machine care: cleaning, calibration, catching problems before they ruin a block
- Figure out why a mill or print failed, not just rerun it
Who we're looking for
- Comfortable on a computer: file management, learning new software quickly, not scared of settings menus
- Detail-oriented. A tenth of a millimeter matters here
- Patient with precise, repetitive work
- Reliable and looking to stay. We put a lot into training and want people who grow with the lab
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience with CNC, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or any hands-on technical hobby
- Coursework in engineering, manufacturing or a related field
