About the Role
As a Warehouse Operator – Shipper at Zekelman Industries, Wheatland Tube division, located in Cambridge, OH, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe warehouse operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on material handling work, and is committed to maintaining quality and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Champion safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
Process and fulfill orders for customers and internal teams.
Pick, pack, and stage orders while verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers to support outbound logistics.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages.
Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Who You Are
2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving ability to address warehouse challenges effectively.
High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and uphold quality standards.
Physical Abilities
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

Below is the expected base hourly range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
Base Hourly Range: $17.00–$28.00 USD
