Location: This position is fully remote but will need to travel throughout the region at 25% .
What’s the role?
The Digital Project Manager II, with limited supervision, will work with small to mid-sized Carl Zeiss Meditec Data Management accounts. Responsible for partnering with field/remote resource to manage a base of customers and successfully deploy data management software. Additional responsibilities include providing first-tier support to end-customers and field/remote resources. Responsible for creating an ongoing relationship with Field Sales Rep, Field Engineers, Implementation Specialists and vendor partners to deliver the complete line of Carl Zeiss Meditec Data Management products. Partners with field resources for account planning, and forecasting.

Here’s What You’ll Do
- Primarily responsible for product deployment with the end-user for a set timeline, setting the schedule and details of the job scope.
- Facilitates remote/on-site installation/add-on requests with Field/Remote Implementation Specialists.
- Respond to questions and inquiries from external customers to CZM networking, break-fix calls, as well as installation/configuration related calls and escalated calls.
- Works with Customer Support to facilitate and schedule FIS/On-site service requests
- Secondly, respond to questions and inquiries from Field Service Engineers, Affiliates, Distributors, Sales Managers, Customer Care personnel, and any other internal customers.
- Directly provide remote training sessions to the end user (WebEx) as needed.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in project management
- BS Computer Science or Informatics, or A , Net , Server certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR business models a definite plus.
- Working knowledge in a clinical setting is extremely helpful.
- Should have a high degree of technical proficiency, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Superior understanding of Networking Topologies, Windows/Mac operating systems and Medical instrument networkability required.
- Experience and familiarity of CZMI products and line of business a plus.
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Travel required, approximately 25% of the time, may involve overnight stays.
