Reports to: Plant Manager

Salary Range: $22 - 24 p/hour

Job Summary:

Zeiser Precast is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Quality & Compliance Lead to join our precast concrete manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will ensure that all precast concrete products meet established quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves performing inspections, testing materials, analyzing data, and collaborating with production teams to maintain superior product quality.

Hourly Wage:

· Typical Range $22.00 to $24.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform quality assessments on all products pre and post production and final yarding.

· Properly categorize all products that fail to meet quality expectations. Develop a correction plan to fix product that can be saved and still provide high caliber quality to the contractor.

· Perform inspection and testing per ACI field testing technician grade 1.

· Measure production dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications.

· Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control

· Document inspection outcomes, deficiencies, and waste product and report to QC and production management

· Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner regarding shipping.

· Recommend corrective/preventative actions to QC and Production to eliminate the cases of actual or potential non-conformance.

· Quality & Compliance Lead is required to check that product meet the proper specifications without interfering with the production team’s ability to produce product.

· Participate in internal and external audits as required.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· High School Diploma required

· Associates Degree in a Construction Based Degree or Competency Credential in Concrete Field preferred

· Ability to pass ACI field testing technician grade 1 course or already being certified is a plus

· Ability to pass PQS 1 course through the NPCA once established in your role at Zeiser Precast

· Experience in quality control preferred

· Ability to understand units of measure and translate to production

· Ability to read and interpret production drawings

· Understanding of reinforcement and lifting inserts

· Basic computer skills (ie word and excel)

· Ability to problem solve and organize

· Strong communication skills in a team environment

· Ability to lift 40 lbs periodically throughout the day

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks daily

· Clean and valid drivers license
