Summary

Enhances the customers' positive experience by transporting vehicles safely and efficiently from one location to another, ensuring they arrive in good condition.

Essential Duties 

• Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial vehicles.
• Use good judgment and safe driving skills.
• Driver must plan and follow route, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading and must ensure cargo is safely secured.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections, and report any accidents or incidents that occur while driving.
• Drivers must be able to make quick decisions in emergency situations, including inclement weather, traffic delays, or mechanical failures.
• Notifies logistics manager of any servicing the vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance. (minor repairs and routine maintenance completed by operator)
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to use repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Must be able to enter and exit large vehicles.
• Must be able to drive for several hours per day.
• Must be able to work in extremely low or high temperatures.
• Regional travel involving overnight stays frequently (Lodging provided), Typically 1-2 nights a week.

 Education and/or Experience 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean Driving Record
