Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000

Summary: Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Quoting projects, products, and parts that vary in complexity and volume with tight deadlines.
· Evaluates manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators
· Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment;
· Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
· Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished-product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
· Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests
· Maintains product and company reputation by complying with governmental regulations
· Maintains product and process data base by entering data within internal company systems
· Develop, test, and refine CNC programs for machine centers
Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university in Engineering and/ or 3-5 years in manufacturing or industrial role
· Project management skills in a fast paced high-mix environment
· Experience in furniture manufacturing
· Experience in project quoting
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
