Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver/Laborer to join our team! In this versatile role, you will be responsible for operating trucks to and from the job. We have a team of Amish guys that need to be on site 5 days a week. so, to be dependable is very important. We do Wood construction, like framing post frame buildings and turn key Barndos. we pay according to the value and dependability you bring to the table. we operate out of a office in Grabill IN. and our commute to the construction job sites ranges between 35min and 1.5 hour.
Duties
- Safely operate a truck and trailer to and from the job.
- Carry material operate small hand tools.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to move supplies, or debris as needed across job sites.
- Assist with site setup and cleanup activities, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during driving activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support team members with general labor tasks such as site preparation, material handling, or assisting with deliveries.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck operations.
- Experience driving trucks, with cargo trailers and flatbed trailers.
- Proven ability in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Heavy lifting capability with physical strength and stamina for demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation and transportation.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
