Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of critical business data across the organization. This role manages the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data elements—including material, customer, vendor, and product data—to support efficient business processes, analytics, and decision-making. Develop data standards, troubleshoot data issues, and optimize master data workflows within ERP, MDM, and related systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, validate, and update master data records across systems (e.g., material, vendor, customer, BOMs, routings, pricing).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in accordance with established corporate data standards.
- Monitor and maintain data lifecycle processes, including change requests, approvals, and archival activities.
- Conduct routine data audits to identify and correct anomalies, duplicates, and missing or conflicting data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on master data policies, processes, and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain data governance documentation, SOPs, and data dictionaries.
- Implement and enforce data quality rules, naming conventions, and ownership guidelines.
- Support data stewardship efforts and coach business users on data best practices.
- Manage master data workflows within ERP/MDM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics (D365 FSCM), iRely, McLeod Loadmaster).
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance data processes, leveraging automation and system improvements.
- Generate reports and metrics related to data quality, process compliance, cycle times, and system performance.
- Support data migration activities for system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Work closely with supply chain, finance, operations, sales, and quality teams to align master data with business needs.
- Provide training, troubleshooting, and support for master data-related issues.
- Provide a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.

Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s
- Experience: 3-5 years. Experience in data management, data governance, ERP systems, or related analytical roles.
- Experience with ERP/MDM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics, or similar.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PowerQuery).
- Experience with SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), or scripting languages a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, data modeling, and process mapping.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
