What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Engineer position at ZealoTech People?
Wants/must-haves: (These are their must-haves)
- 2 years of experience providing hardware, peripherals, connectivity, and application support in a networked Microsoft Windows environment, or an Associate degree in Computer Technology or related field plus 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining current versions of Windows and Mac OS
- Ability to process Service Desk requests, triage issues, and resolve or escalate technical support matters
- Experience providing technical support by phone, electronically, and in person
- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop hardware, software, and other technical service issues
- Experience working in a multi-site networked environment
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Okta, and Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
- Strong customer service, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Software: Google Workspace, Okta, Active Directory, Windows OS, Mac OS, AppGate, Druva Backup, PowerShell, BASH, Python, JAMF Pro, Apple Business Manager (ABM), DEP, VPP, Atera, Vonage Business, ITGlue, Zoho One
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with AppGate
- Experience with Druva Backup
- Experience with scripting and automation such as PowerShell, BASH, or Python
