Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler with a strong background in data center construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project while supporting large-scale mission-critical construction projects. This role requires close coordination with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Create baseline schedules from preconstruction through commissioning and project closeout.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and monitor project milestones.
- Prepare 3-week and 6-week look-ahead schedules.
- Track project progress and provide weekly and monthly schedule updates.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts, and develop recovery plans.
- Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor procurement activities, long-lead equipment, and commissioning schedules.
- Support change management, delay analysis, and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) when required.
- Participate in planning meetings and provide schedule reports to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of construction scheduling experience.
- Strong experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required; Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, and project controls.
- Experience coordinating MEP, procurement, commissioning, and turnover activities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule recovery planning.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Acumen Fuse, or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
- PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or Primavera P6 certifications are a plus.
