About the Role
The Lead Patient Advocate is a frontline leader responsible for supporting, coaching, and training the Patient Advocate team in the daily workflow tasks of order management, reimbursement, and customer service.
Responsibilities
· Provide daily support to Patient Advocates to ensure that all aspects of prescription processing are handled accurately and efficiently including data entry and billing.
· Coordinate with other pharmacy teams to drive efficiency and resolve any discrepancies.
· Utilize daily metrics to coordinate tasks assigned to the pharmacy team based on urgency and patient needs.
· Provide escalation support to Advocates to ensure excellent patient and partner care.
· Work with distribution partners to ensure shipping issues are addressed and resolved.
· Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of service.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
· Provide training and support to new hires and current employees for new processes and updates to current processes.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in pharmacy technology preferred.
· Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting with a focus on operations and customer service.
· Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and insurance processes.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
· Proficient in pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
