Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused POS On-site Specialist to support new merchant partners in implementing and customizing their Point of Sale (POS) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring merchants have a smooth onboarding experience by configuring software, customizing menus, installing POS hardware on-site, and delivering basic system training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with new merchants to understand their business needs and customize the POS system accordingly.
- Set up and configure POS software, including menu programming, tax settings, and other system preferences.
- Install POS hardware on-site, including terminals, printers, cash drawers, Kiosks, and network connections.
- Conduct on-site training sessions with merchants and their staff to ensure they are comfortable and confident using the system.
- Provide first-line support and troubleshoot technical issues during the initial two days of system use, ensuring a smooth transition for the merchant.
- Ensure successful system testing and handover to merchants post-installation.
- Document all configurations and installations accurately for internal and client reference.
- Provide feedback to product and support teams to improve the merchant experience and system functionality.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English and Chinese.
- Proven experience in POS systems, IT support, or a technical field role.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software components of POS systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in real-time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to merchant sites as needed. Willingness to do training in Atlanta headquarter.
- Familiarity with POS platform or similar systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred.
Working Conditions:
- On-site visits to merchant locations
- Some evening or weekend work may be required, depending on client needs
- Physical work, including lifting and setting up hardware equipment
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Restaurant working experience: 1year (Preferred)
