Job Summary
Must be available to work these hours
Thursday 6:00pm-11:00pm
Friday 6:00pm-11:00pm and/or 11:00pm-4:00am
Saturday 6:00pm-11:00pm and/or 11:00pm-4:00am
Sunday 1:00pm-6:00pm and/or 3:00pm-8:00pm
Duties
- Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by receiving and storing food supplies.
- Support catering events by preparing food items as directed and ensuring timely service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food handling tools.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, catering, and kitchen operations.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
