Zaxby’s Assistant Manager

The Role
This is not a desk job and not a “boss” role.
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who leads through service, works shoulder-to-shoulder with the team, and sets the tone every shift. You’ll coach, support, and develop people while delivering great food and guest experiences.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading shifts with a servant leadership mindset
- Coaching team members in real time
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and speed standards
- Supporting labor control and shift execution
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Being a calm, confident leader during busy periods
What We Expect
- Previous leadership experience (restaurant preferred)
- Willingness to work 45–50 hours/week
- Availability for nights and weekends
- Strong communication and accountability
- A hands-on leader who leads by example
