We’re Looking for an Assistant Manager to Join Our Team
As an Assistant Manager at Zaxby’s, you’ll be a key leader, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. If you’re hardworking, enthusiastic, and ready to take on a leadership role, we want to hear from you! Flexible hours and weekend availability are required. Restaurant experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and a willingness to grow are what matter most.
Job Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be expected to:
- Lead by Example: Manage and motivate the team to provide outstanding service to every guest, every time.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality across the restaurant.
- Training & Development: Support the development of your team through hands-on training and ongoing coaching.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest has a positive experience, from greeting them at the door to thanking them as they leave.
- Staff Management: Supervise, schedule, and develop the team, ensuring they’re meeting performance and guest service standards.
- Quality Control: Maintain Zaxby’s high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee inventory, manage food costs, and monitor labor expenses.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure accurate cash handling, including balancing cash drawers and credit card transactions.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the restaurant clean and welcoming, inside and out. Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience: Restaurant management experience preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important!
- Availability: Flexible schedule required; night and weekend shifts are part of the role.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and inspire others to deliver exceptional results.
- Physical Requirements: You should be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. You’ll also be standing, walking, and using your hands frequently during your shift.
