What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Filler Downstream Relief position at Zausner Foods Corporation?
Duties and responsibilities but not limited to:
- Operate both the Processor and Filler on a specific line
- Check systems, processing and filling equipment and verify all hookups
- Sterilize system and equipment as required
- Monitor and report all required data on charts and logs
- Keep accurate records of your line activity and production events
- Assist other operators and line personnel as needed
- CIP systems, fillers tanks, etc. as required
- Abide by State and Company procedures per each process operation
- May be required to perform quality tests and package integrity on products
- Maintain good housekeeping in filler and process areas at all times
- Pull samples as required
- Other duties as assigned
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to abide by The AFP Mission Statement dealing with customers, quality, innovation, integrity and ethics values.
- Must be able to value people, teamwork, safety, excellence, and have pride and dignity for work performed.
- Must be able to perform CIP of processing equipment
- Must possess an aptitude for aseptic processing and be able to operate related equipment
- Must posses mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Must be capable of passing State Food Processing exam
- Must be able to handle chemicals and CIP
- Must abide by company rules
- Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and written form
