Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cabinetmaker/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in custom cabinetry, woodworking, finish carpentry, and installation work, with strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
Duties
- Fabricate custom cabinets and furniture based on design specifications.
- Prepare cabinet components for assembly and finishing.
- Build custom cabinets from start to finish (cutting, assembling, sanding, finishing, installing)
- Read and interpret shop drawings and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Operate standard woodworking machinery and tools.
- Restore and repair existing cabinetry as needed, maintaining quality standards.
- Keep workspace clean, safe, and organized
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking.
- Experience in cabinetmaking, carpentry, and woodworking.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and tools.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Strong knowledge of joinery, wood types, and finishing techniques a plus.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality and attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and dependability.
