We are looking for a highly creative, social media-obsessed, and digitally savvy Social Media / Marketing Assistant who knows how to turn great ideas into engaging content.

This isn't a role for someone who just scrolls social media. We want someone who lives and breathes it, has an endless stream of creative ideas, and knows exactly how to bring those ideas to life. From concept to filming to final edit, you should be able to create content that grabs attention, drives engagement, and makes our brand stand out.

The ideal candidate has built a following of their own on social media, understands what makes content go viral, can edit videos like a pro, and is always one step ahead of the latest trends. You're someone who never runs out of ideas, takes initiative, and doesn't need to be told what to create next.

Beyond social media, this role will support marketing campaigns, events, sponsorships, and reporting. We're looking for someone who is just as organized and dependable as they are creative.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Help manage the firm's social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and audience engagement.
• Creative Content Development: Constantly brainstorm fresh, original, out-of-the-box ideas and take ownership of bringing them from concept to execution.
• Filming & Content Creation: Confidently film and capture high-quality photo and video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and events.
• Video Editing: Create polished, attention-grabbing short-form videos, with strong editing skills, creative transitions, trending audio, and storytelling techniques.
• Copywriting: Write engaging captions, scripts, headlines, and social media content that captures attention and reflects our brand's personality.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of TikTok, Instagram, and other social media trends, identifying opportunities to create relevant, engaging content.
• Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaigns, creative concepts, marketing materials, and strategies to grow brand awareness.
• Events & Sponsorships: Assist with coordinating and documenting firm events, community involvement, and sponsorships, including capturing content.
• Reporting & Organization: Work closely with the intake team and Marketing Manager to track marketing performance, lead sources, campaign results, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Community Engagement: Stay connected to local happenings, community events, and online conversations to identify creative opportunities for the firm.
• Flexible Scheduling: Occasionally work outside standard 8 AM–5 PM hours for events, filming, and other marketing needs.

• Someone who is plugged into the Pensacola community and excited to help grow a recognizable local brand.
