In addition, we maintain stocks of mineral wool, castable, plastics, mortars, insulating and refractory brick and alumina products. We provide vacuum forming services, allowing us to produce refractory shapes made from refractory ceramic fiber, mineral wool and castable of all temperature ranges, including alumina, silicon carbide or mullite grades.
Position Summary:
The CNC Programmer/Waterjet is responsible for the development, optimization, and oversight of CNC and waterjet machining operations. The position supports manufacturing efficiency and product quality through advanced programming, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position also contributes to documentation, training, and ongoing evaluation of emerging technologies and industry practices.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC/waterjet Programming and Operation
- Develop, modify, and maintain CNC and waterjet programs to support machining operations.
Process Optimization
- Analyze and enhance existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Implement improvements to increase overall productivity.
Quality Control
- Collaborate with quality control to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting product quality.
Collaboration
- Partner with the Fabrication Manager to interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate execution.
Training and Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation of CNC/waterjet programs and setup procedures.
- Support training initiatives for machining operations and technology use.
Continuous Learning
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
- Drive ongoing improvements in manufacturing processes.
Position Requirements:
- Strong understanding of machining processes, material properties, and cutting tool selection.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software.
- Proficiency in using CAD, Enroute, and FLOW software.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies, processes, and project requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
